I'm an IHK certified event technician.
I apprenticed from 2018-2021 at LiveAudio. There I learned how to create and operate setups ranging from small local bands up to large orchestras, and everything in between. Events like Pop Meets Classic, the Hanover NDR classical music open air, the Blauhaus parties, The Film-Fest in Braunschweig and a ton of smaller stuff are where I learned a lot of what I now know. During Covid, we adapted quickly and switched to doing mostly outdoor events, both to comply with regulations and to keep people safe. I have formed continuous working relationships with clients during this time, and continue to be reliable support for their events.
I am confident in many roles, including lighting, rigging, video and the likes. Digging a cable trench is as much part of it as is turning the knobs.

I'm also passable on Midas Pro series, Midas HD and Yamaha consoles, can work with almost all non-line-array PAs - and I will work with more or less everything else given I have a bit of prep time. Maybe give me a rigging workshop if I haven't touched your PA before, though.

I do enjoy mixing, however recently I am often deployed as a general system tech. When you have lots of stuff interconnected and interacting, I design and/or troubleshoot those systems. Some of examples of what I have done are various intercom systems work with console talkback loops, Optocore rings with multiple consoles and racks, and then interfacing that with MADI and Dante bridges to some outside nodes or more consoles. I am also skilled at understanding and servicing previously unknown systems - and am 24/7 on call if you have an urgent problem (past examples including Dante network issues, broken console repairs/swaps, club lighting system repairs, general console configuration support, ...). This also includes being an emergency backup tech, ultra-short-notice.
I also can do (unlicensed) service on DiGiCo and Allan&Heath consoles and MLA-series PAs (swapping and cleaning faders, repairing outer damage, replacing boards as well as some limited component-level repairs).
I am a self-taught software engineer with a focus towards embedded.
I can write simulations that display stuff with OpenGL, program your FPGA, write some firmware on your STM-Whatever or Zynq-Whatelse.
Currently I am employed at flucon, developing the full software stack for the E-Lub Tester Project, so I can't do larger scale software work for you right now. I am however always open to be contacted for small scale projects.
